In 2023 we held a special training day for junior members in conjunction with the Esk Fishery Association on Sunday 16 April 2023 (10am - 2pm) at Oaks Lake. A River Rangers Taster Day (Ryevitalise Programme) for young anglers was held at the lake on Saturday 10th June 2023. Evening fishing sessions for Young River Rangers (Ryevitalise Programme) was held on the river (Weir Pool above EA Monitoring Station on Ness Beat 1) on 14 June, 12 July, 26 July, 23 August (all between 6.00pm and 8.00pm). Arrangements are yet to be confirmed for 2024.
